In Full Flow!

Alnwick Gardens, Northumberland

Alnwick Gardens

Alnwick Castle Garden was initiated by Jane Percy, Duchess of Northumberland, in October 2001.  The project cost £42,000,000 and the fountain and original garden were designed by  Jacques Wirtz and Peter Wirtz.  The Garden which has grown and developed over the years, is run as a charitable trust.  The Duchess has a very much ‘hands on’ approach to her garden and you may spot her amongst the shrubberies!
